Exciting news! Eat.Scrap.Run is now DeliciousFit!

I have been wanting to change the site for a little while now and focus more on an overall healthy living balance instead of just running, eating and scrapbooking.  In my down time this afternoon I decided to just take the plunge.  I am still working through the content but I hope you will continue to follow me in my new home! My goal is to focus on where food and fitness find a healthy balance!

Check it out! Feel free to email me at comments@deliciousfit.com!

It’s Time to Resign

I wanted to let you know I have decided to resign from blogging with Holly at EatScrapRun.  It’s been a fun 8 months and I have loved sharing this with Holly, but I am finding that I am spending too much time on the blog.

It’s no one fault but my own, but I truly got sucked into the blog world (and Twitter!), and I have decided it’s best to just step down and walk away from the blog world for awhile.  I have been unemployed for two months now, and it’s time to really focus on my job search and figuring out the next steps in my life.  I hope that you will continue to follow Holly on the blog, as she is planning to still post a few days a week about our favorite topics: Eating, Scrapbooking, and Running :)

Home Sweet Home

After a week of travels, I am back home. It’s always fun to go on vacation, but it’s always nice to be back home too! Did you miss any of my vacation posts?

Even with being out of town for 8 days, I have only missed one workout on my Marathon training plan. I am trying not to feel bad about the missed workout, and instead focus on the fact that I stuck with the rest of my plan. It was so nice having a set workout schedule to follow on vacation. I didn’t have to think about what kind of exercise I was going to do, it was already all scheduled for me!

The biggest change I am seeing so far with this new training plan is that my body is not used to back to back running days. I am glad I decided to start running back to back days now, even though the distances are relatively short, just so I can adjust to this before the longer distance marathon training runs start.

I have a lot to get done today, starting with mowing the lawn before it gets too hot.  I am also excited to go grocery shopping because we have no fruit and vegetables.    I will leave you with a picture of my helper, Timmy, who is sitting by my side.   He is happy to have me home :)
